Ultrasonic Leak Detection
A transmitter placed on either the inside or the outside of the window or other environmental barrier, sends out a sound signal which is above the audible range. Because of its high frequency the signal finds its way through any small airways that exist to a receiver on the other side, but does not pass through the actual window. It is a simple check on construction and installation of building elements which are supposed to keep the weather (and exterior noise) out.
